The whitest of white limestone rocks in Poland can be found in Siedlec near Janów, in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. There is a quarry, now closed, that provided the limestone for cladding the buildings on the Polish Sejm and the Office of the Council of Ministers in Warsaw. Therefore, the quarry is named "Warsaw". An interesting fact is that the landscape of the limestone rocks was used as the location of the western with Val Kilmer in one of the roles.
